BSB Streaming IPTV or BSB Streaming TV delivers 100s of live premium channels with sports, movies, shows, local TV, kids, and many more from popular TV networks. In addition, you get access to 1000s of on-demand old/recent movies and TV series.
If you love sports, then you’ll appreciate having access to any and all live sporting events including PPV events and NFL games both live and on-demand. There are sections for seasonal sports such as NFL, MLB, NHL, and NBA and other sports sections such as ESPN +.
What else do you get? There are Search tools available to search for channels and videos by network name or title. And there’s also an EPG (Electronic Programming Guide). When using the Nora Go or SO Player app, it will track what you watched in the past so that you can find and start watching it quickly.
You can install the Nora Go app for smart TVs and SO Player for all other compatible devices. When visiting the BSB Streaming IPTV website you can find out what devices are compatible. That said, you now know some of the highlights so let’s dive into the main parts of our BSB Streaming IPTV review.
Breakdown in 4 Parts
When testing this IPTV service, I broke it down into 4 parts to help you make a well-informed decision to buy or not. The pros and cons are further down and that will help you as well in making a decision. But the best thing to do is enter into the Free Trial yourself as I did so that you can test everything yourself.
Understand that when I reviewed the free BSB streaming trial with full access, non-working channels may be working for you. I”ll explain further in the pros and cons section below.
1. Channel/VOD Delivery
When entering the activation credentials into the app that you receive three different ways (email, Thank You page & My Account), you get access to all the streaming content inside the app. Again, you can use one of two apps or both. The Nora Go app for smart TVs and SO Player for all other compatible devices. BSB claims to have over 500 channels but who’s counting. What I’m more concerned about are working channels as I’m sure you are too.
When clicking a channel/network name to play, the live stream plays very quickly in 1080p HD picture quality. Same thing when playing a VOD movie or TV series episode. The picture and audio quality are both very good wether you watch everything on a large screen TV or smartphone. Many of the USA channels played. There are many other sections such as English, Spanish, French, Filipino, Sports, and so on.
Unfortunately, those who want to watch Gospel channels and/or catchup TV, both sections of channels were not working at the time of my BSB Streaming review. And many of the UK channels were not working either.
As for local channels from different US cities, they were not working at the time of my review. But the owner of the IPTV service told me the local channels will be fixed so they might be working when you enter into the free trial. And if they do work, you’ll only get a couple that works out of a few of them. If you are concerned about not getting access to all local channels from your area, don’t worry. You can have access to local channels another way, either get them via a Streaming local TV service or indoor antenna. Click Here to Learn More.
It’s very easy to navigate the app to find what you’re looking for. No manual or instructions needed. Simply let your eyes lead you to where you want to go and point/click. If watching channels from the US is at the top of your list, then you will be happy as most of these channels work. The English channel sections have more channels. Overall, the performance would be better if it wasn’t for those UK and CatchUp channels not working.
You will not experience any delay for a stream to play or have any issues while watching whatever interests you. The best streaming device to use is streaming media devices such as Amazon Devices (Fire TV, Fire Cube or Firestick), NVIDIA Shield, Apple TV with remote control. If you don’t a streaming media device to connect to your smart TV or HDTV, I recommend purchasing/using the Firestick. Click Here to Learn More.
Streaming performance depends heavily on your Internet connection speed. I don’t waste my time writing reviews and creating video reviews on IPTV services that have buffering issues (repeatedly stop & play). So if you experience a continual buffering issue with this service, 9 times out of 10 the issue is on your end.
Many IPTV services recommend having at least 20-30 Mbps Internet connection speed. I recommend having 2x or 3x times as much and higher or more the better. My ISP (Internet Service Provider) is Comcast and I paid for over 200 Mbps which is more than enough speed to eliminate buffering issues. That much Internet connection speed isn’t required but it doesn’t hurt to have that much if not more.
You must also think about the number of device connections to watch BSB Streaming online at home. You are allowed to connect up 4 devices at one time. If you experience any buffering issues with all 4 devices connected, then you may need to increase your Internet connection speed at your ISP. Using an old device may cause poor performance so consider this as well. Try to use new or fairly new streaming devices.
3. User & IPTV/App Interface
When using Nora Go or SO Player, whereas SO Player is the better performing app, both give you the ease of use. Navigating through the app to find the streaming content you want to watch is a piece of cake. You get a quick, smooth interface that makes you forget about the high cost of paid television. The layout is very pleasing to the eye and no way will you get lost or can’t find what you’re looking for.
The Nora Go and SO Player apps are not standalone TV apps. Both require an IPTV service, in this case, BSB Streaming IPTV to activate the app so you can watch your favorites online. The IPTV service delivers live channels and VODs, not the app. When using a streaming media device with remote control, there’s no easier way to watch TV online from the comfort of your living room or bedroom.
BSB Streaming support is readily available via chatbox. If you want a quick answer to your question or need support, the chatbox is the quickest way. Generally, you will find someone online. If offline, just leave your message with your email address and someone will get back to you when available. I never experienced a long waiting period from any IPTV service that I reviewed. You can also use the Contact Form or the email address found on the Contact Form.
I highly recommend entering into the free trial first. In fact, you might want to install the app to the device you want to use before signing up for the free trial. This way you’ll know first hand if your device is compatible or not before shelling out any money.
Here are the compatible devices this IPTV service allows you to use:
- Amazon Devices (Fire TV, Cube, Firestick)
- Computers (Windows, Mac)
- iOS Devices (iPhone, iPod, iPad, Smartphone)
- Android Devices (TV, Box, Tablet, Smartphone)
- NVIDIA Shield
- Apple TV
- Smart TV (Samsung, LG, or TV w/ internal app store)
Note: Other devices not listed above cannot be used; Install Nora Go app to smart TVs that have an internal app store.
BSB Streaming Free Trial & Subscription Cost
When signing up for the BSB Streaming Trial, you get full access to everything for up to 3 days. However, the free trial is not available for the last 2-3 days of the month so that I’m told. When paying the subscription, there is no credit check, hidden fees, or cancellation fee.
Subscription Cost: $25 for 1 month
UPDATE: 3 Day Free Trial is now 3 day Trial for $3.00
There is no automatic repay billing or monthly subscription. You simply pay as you go. In other words, when one month of service ends, you control when to pay or not to continue using the IPTV service. To renew, simply visit BSB Streaming HERE and click the ‘My Account’ link at the top of the website when you get there.
When signing up to get the Trial or Subscription, you must enter your email address and create a password. Make absolutely sure you enter the correct email address and remember your email address and password. You will be needing both to log into your ‘My Account’ to renew your subscription. Either that or get your account/order info as well as your activation/login credentials to activate the app.
BSB Streaming Review: Pros & Cons
This IPTV service provider can be a great solution for those who want access to live US, Spanish, or French channels including sports and VOD. It doesn’t matter where you live in the world or where you travel, anyone can sign up and get access to the same streaming content. There are no geo-restrictions. Many popular television networks found on paid TV are available to watch online from BSB.
Essentially, you are getting an All-in-One Online TV service that brings both live premium channels and video-on-demand content under one roof. This includes news, sports, movies, all kinds of TV shows, kids channels, PPV events, locals, global channels, music/radio channels, and more. You can enter into the Trial with no credit card and low-cost subscription with great savings when compared to paid TV.
You get crystal clear picture quality in HD (1080p) with great audio and can watch many of your favorites across a number of devices at one time. If you have a few TVs, just buy/use the Amazon Firestick for each which is the cheapest among other streaming media devices and has great performance. Of course, there are other compatible devices that can be used.
You also get access to on-demand PPV events to watch boxing matches, the fights, that you missed or want to see again. And the same goes for on-demand NFL games. Connecting up to 4 devices allows other family members in your household to watch what they want when using BSB Streaming TV. Watch your favorite sporting events live online and your local teams without local any blackouts.
Although many channels work out of hundreds, I found channels from different sections that didn’t work. The channels that didn’t work at the time of my BSB Streaming Review were Gospel, UK, and Local TV channels. However, Local channels may be working now but I’m not sure about the availability of other channels. Also, recorded channels from the CatchUp section don’t work which might be a deal-breaker if this is important to you.
Unlike Netflix, an IPTV service account cannot be shared with other people from another household that have a different IP address. You pay for one IPTV account for one location (IP address). You can, however, use a mobile device (smartphone) outside your IP address when connecting to different WiFi areas.
There are no regional channels available. But rest assure you can watch any and all local, national, and international sporting events live online.
The trial is certainly a no-brainer which I used to conduct my BSB Streaming Review. This also allows you to test everything for 3 days yourself. There is nothing that should deter you from giving this IPTV a try it — you have nothing to lose. The low-cost fee is also something to marvel at that gives you access to many premium live channels from popular networks found on paid TV. BSB Streaming TV is another way to watch your favorites online whether it’s live channels or on-demand streaming content.
You can catch all the special PPV Events on your big screen. In fact, never miss the big fights again or there’s no extra fee to watch them. There’s entertainment for the entire family that you will soon find out in the Trial. Just watch the videos I created above where I cover both the BSB website and show everything in action including live and on-demand streams playing. With the shortcomings previously mentioned, this IPTV service is still worth trying out if you get what really interests you.
