In this Xtreme HD IPTV Review, I’m going to cover a lot of ground that will help you make a well-informed decision. You’ll get the inside info needed that covers the service, TV app, performance, streaming content, subscription, features, etc. You can also watch the video tutorials when clicking the button inside the star-rated review section above.

UPDATE:
We are no longer recommending Xtreme due to them only accepting cryptocurrency payments. Since most, if not all US visitors coming to our website don’t use crypto to buy stuff online, we want to recommend something far better.
You can pay with a major credit or debit card and other payment methods. You will also have the option to choose manual payment or automatic payment whichever one works best for you. With manual payment, you have the option to pay again or not or pay anytime you want. No recurring billing.
For automatic payment, you don’t need to revisit the IPTV service website to renew the subscription. You will be automatically billed without having to do anything and can cancel the subscription anytime you want. Below, you can visit the alternative service and/or read the full review.

Want to see everything in action inside the TV Player app? If so, Click Here. Also, watch the other video tutorials that take you through the entire process from beginning to end. It will get you completely set up in no time. I have been test-reviewing IPTV services and IPTV apps for several years.
This is what I provide that separates this review from all other Xtreme HD IPTV reviews. You get a video review of the website where I break everything down. There’s a video that walks you through the signup and subscription, a video on how to install on the Firestick/Fire TV, and another video that takes you inside to see everything in action.
Whether you are living with or without cable/satellite TV or any TV/VOD subscription, you get an all-in-one streaming TV/VOD medium. The cost is very low but this doesn’t mean you’ll lose watching your favorites online.
What is Xtreme HD IPTV
First off, the XtremeHD IPTV service doesn’t have anything to do with any cable, satellite, or Fios TV company. All the streaming content comes from the Internet across your IP address. Don’t confuse This service with the Extreme IPTV service.
You don’t need to install any hardware. I have provided the requirements further down to get set up. Xtreme TV delivers 1000s of live channels and 1000s of VOD movies/TV series. The types of streaming content delivered are enormous which also includes the US, CA, AU, ER, and many international streaming content.
They deliver a wide variety of content and territory that caters to individuals living anywhere in the world. This includes live premium channels to watch sports, news, documentaries, movies, etc. Huge live sports package at no extra charge. VODs to watch entertaining movies and TV series. For as little as $16 per month, Xtreme IPTV works with those with small budgets.

Additional Info…
I found a lot of channels and VODs from the United States including other English-speaking countries. The IPTV service comes with a Bouquet feature when signing up to subscribe. You get to choose which countries with streaming content interest you. More on this later.
Is Xtreme HD IPTV Legal & Legit?
The Xtreme HD TV legal debate lingers on and the same goes for all IPTV services. They are legal in a sense when not hosting any streaming live TV channels and VODs on their official website but there are some gray areas. Though they deliver whatever is on the web, they are not content holders or owners of the streaming content delivered.
So it’s a judgment call as to whether or not you want to pursue this service any further, or any IPTV for that matter. However, I can only guesstimate there are millions of individuals worldwide who have subscribed to IPTV services.
During my Xtreme HD IPTV review of their official website, I did come across some legal documents such as Private Policy, Terms of Service, and DMCA to make themselves compliant.
Should any content holder have an issue with the streaming content delivered, the IPTV service usually ceases delivery of that content. Either that or shut the entire service down which doesn’t affect you other than no more service. As I said before, there are probably millions of people using IPTVs today, many of whom switch from one IPTV to another.
Is It Legit?
This depends on whether you are talking about the service claiming what it offers or the service itself as legit. I’ve already explained the legality above. But I can say after conducting my review of Xtreme IPTV, they do indeed deliver what was promised. And they deliver it very well.
Reliability
Reliability should also be factored in when searching for a good IPTV service. The longer the IPTV stays in service they must be doing something right such as this IPTV service. Downtimes should be at a minimum and if one occurs it shouldn’t be that long for things to get back to normal.
Not only have I test-reviewed Xtreme TV IPTV but I have been using them over the years to entertain my household. They are indeed a reliable service but IPTVs are not for everyone.
NEW!… Introducing Xtreme HD IPTV Web TV Player & Bouquets
Web TV Player. My Xtreme HD IPTV review didn’t cover the new web TV player that came out later but I may review it at some point in time. Windows/Mac/Linux Computer users and other devices with web browsers can use the IPTV Smarters Web TV Player that opens in a web browser. You don’t need to download/install the app. Get set up in a snap. You’re going to love this… Click Here to Learn More
Bouquets. Xtreme now allows you to choose specific countries/languages during signup when subscribing. There are over 100 countries/languages with live channels and VODs delivered. More than likely, you don’t want all of that content when it doesn’t interest you.
In comes Bouquets that let you choose your country with or without other countries and with or without adult content. For instance, I wanted all English-speaking countries. I chose the US, UK, AU, and CA for live channels. Then I chose VOD movies in English and VOD TV series in English without adult content.
You can Watch the Video Tutorial Here for a demonstration.

What Are the Requirements?
This review will now cover the requirements to watch TV online without cable. You only need a few things but you won’t need an antenna, receiver, or set-top box. Here’s a breakdown of what’s needed:
- High-Speed Internet Connection: Have at least 30 Mbps download speed. Around 60 Mbps is better but 100 Mbps is even better. You should try to make a hard wire Internet connection (use Ethernet cable) on your primary streaming device if you can. If not, you can use a wireless connection. An Ethernet connection makes for a faster Internet connection speed. Read this article.
- Compatible Streaming Device: A new or fairly new compatible streaming device is best. Make sure the operating system is up to date. Many IPTV services allow you to connect more than one device at the same time. You get one device connected with this TV service but allow add-on connections. I consider the Amazon Firestick as the best streaming device to use for IPTVs
- TV Player App/Apk: This IPTV service will provide you with the TV app they support with a URL or code to download it on your device. The app is free to download but not free to use. You need an IPTV service provider
- IPTV Service Subscription: Signing up to get the trial or subscription will allow you to activate/log into the TV player app. The Xtreme IPTV service delivers all the streaming TV/VOD content and provides support when needed.
XtremeHD IPTV Smarters App & Web TV Player
You get the best of both worlds with this IPTV service. You can use either or both the IPTV Smarters app and/or the rebranded (Xtremes HD IPTV) app. Or, you can use the Web TV Player. See compatible devices below to use the TV app.
The Web TV Player app gives you another way to watch your favorites online and has the same streaming TV/VOD content. The web player opens in your favorite web browser and doesn’t require downloading anything. You can travel with a portable streaming device (hence: laptop) and watch your favorites online wherever you travel in the world. You just need a steady high-speed Internet connection.
Your streaming device such as a computer must have a web browser to watch streaming TV/VOD online just like Netflix. You simply sign in to use the Web TV player to watch live channels and VODs. I suggest you watch the video tutorial to see it in action where everything is explained.
Additional Info…
To be clear, the Web TV Player is not compatible with only Linux, Mac, and Windows computers. Use any device with a web browser to use the Web TV Player that can stream live and VOD content.
What Are the Compatible Devices?
Here’s a list of compatible devices that I found when conducting my physical review:
- Smart TV (Samsung/Sony/LG)
- Android (TV, Box & Phone)
- Firestick/Fire TV/Cube
- Magbox
- STB
- Enigma2/Dreambox/Vu+
- AVOV Box/Formuler
- Dreamlink
- iOS (Apple, Phone, iPad)
- Other Devices (contact support)
- M3u Supported
They allow you to use different devices simultaneously but only if you paid for the Addon connections. A regular plan comes with just a single connection. They don’t recommend using their streaming TV/VOD service on multiple devices to avoid Buffering, Freezing, or Playback errors.
Customers are required to have an Android box with 3/4GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM. The best compatible devices to use are the Firestick (Fire TV), Nvidia Shield, Formuler Boxes, Chromecast with Google TV, and Mi Stick.
Device Connections
Xtreme lets you choose the number of streaming devices you want to use that can be connected at one time. You get one device connection in a basic subscription but can add on 2, 3, 4, or 5 devices for an extra cost. Simply click the subscription plan you want when visiting the Xtreme HD IPTV website. There will be checkboxes to choose the number of device connections you want.

International Streaming TV/VOD Content
For my Xtreme HD IPTV review, I chose to get the one-month subscription with two device connections. I decided to use my Firestick connected to my LG smart TV. When I logged into the app/apk (TV Player), the Home or main screen appeared with several clickable icons as follows.
Here’s what I found during my Review…
- Live TV
- Movies
- Series
- Live with EPG (US, UK & CA)
- Catch Up (only had 12 recorded shows)
You will also find clickable buttons for various features such as:
- Multi-Screen
- Recordings
- Settings (Parental Control, Time Format, Speed Test, etc.)
- Switch Users
- And More
When selecting the ‘Live TV’ icon, I found a huge list of categories in the far left column. At the time of my review, there were a total of 16,740 live channels. Those were sectioned off into their respective categories. There are just too many to mention.
Some channels play in SD, HD (1080p), FHD, and perhaps other resolutions. I think I may have seen channels that play in UHD resolution as well.
Live TV & Categories
- All (16,740)
- Favorites (where adding channels to fav are stored)
- Channel History (10)
- US News (55)
- US Movie Channels (78)
- Netflix Premium (10)
- US Entertainment (262)
- And many other categories and countries
Movies (VOD) & Categories
The content in this section and categories have a similar setup to Live TV & Categories as follows:
- All (57,564)
- Favorites
- Continue Watching
- Recently Added (30)
- Movies- New-Releases (376)
- And many countries with VOD movies available
Series (VOD) Categories
Again, the setup is very similar to the other sections as follows:
- All (10,186)
- Favorites
- Continue Watching
- Recently Added (30)
- Series-Documentaries (837)
- Series-Drama (1,058)
- And many other genres, categories
What Can You Watch and Listen to?
Anything you want. You get access to the following:
- Live channels (premium, some regional, local TV, domestic & international)
- PPV shows & movies (no extra charge)
- 24/7 shows
- Music (videos) and radio channels
- Netflix
- All kinds of live sports (local, some US regional, seasonal & international)
- PPV events (boxing/fights/special events — no extra cost)
- VOD Movies
- VOD TV series
- VOD boxing/fights
- Major TV networks to watch the news, shows, movies, documentaries, and much more
- Other content was provided as well
If you are bilingual or multilingual, then you are in luck. Xtreme HD IPTV delivers over 100 countries so you are bound to find the countries/languages that interest you.
More from Xtreme IPTV Test-Review
Channel List
This HD IPTV service includes a channels list on its website. Go to the FAQ section and read, “Do Have Channel List”. There’s a link that you can click to review the channel list. You will also find the Channels List when clicking the 3-line icon at the top of their website.
You also get to see categories and subcategories of live channels and VODs when watching the video that takes you inside HERE.
EPG (Electronic Programming Guide / TV Guide)
What’s cool about the EPG is they set up the same categories for live channels to watch inside the TV guide. Here’s one of the best parts of my review. When you select the EPG from the Home screen, you will see two columns filled with the same category names as follows:
All, US News, Netflix Premium, USA Family & Kids, Favorites, USA Movie Channels, and many, many more. You will find a host of country categories as well. While at the EPG Categories, I selected US News and the TV guide appeared with all the US news channels. You can play to watch any news channel you see right from the TV guide.
Next, I pressed the Back button on my Firestick remote to get back to the EPG Category. This time I pressed the USA Movie Channels and all those channels were loaded inside the TV guide. You will see network/channel names with TV shows in their time slots and days.
Xtreme TV IPTV has an accurate EPG guide that subscribers can use to watch their favorites that way as well. As of now, the EPG guide has UK, USA, and Canada channels only, in the future we will surely consider adding support for many other countries.
IPTV HD IPTV – Performance
Further, in my review of Xtreme HD IPTV, I played many live and on-demand streaming content. Most of them worked. There are no perfect IPTVs out there. All of them have some channels (out of 100s or 1000s) that don’t work but you can contact support to get them to look into it.
Because there is a huge amount of streaming content available is probably why there’s probably some delay in performance. Meaning, that when going from one category of channels or VODs to another, you can expect some delay before you can play something. However, this is not the same for playing channels. They will play quickly. I’m just talking about maneuvering in/out of categories.
There were times when I got kicked out of the TV app and had to open it again. I consider these small downsides but you may see them as being more. The app closing by itself happens very rarely. Overall, if you are patient, the performance isn’t bad at all. It’s worth all the streaming content you get.
Live channels and VOD movies/TV series play quickly, some play quicker than others. I’m sure you will like the crystal clear picture quality when watching everything on your large-screen TV. There’s not much more to say about the performance.
Additional Info…
There was a TNT LHD channel and an FHD channel that I switched back and forth when experiencing some buffering. Sometimes you’re given more than one channel resolution. What I did was let the live stream play and work itself out. When the game started there became less consistent buffering along the way.
Now I don’t know if this issue will work itself out the same way all the time but something you need to pay attention to. I was able to watch the vast majority of the game without consistent buffering. The vast majority of channels you get shouldn’t have consistent buffering. Only some channels give you problems. So again it’s very important to read the troubleshooting guide to know what to do.
One other thing is when a channel doesn’t play, don’t give up so easily. Go to another channel to play it, then go back to the non-working to play it. Sometimes the channel that didn’t work will work when switching in/out of channels. Play another channel then come back to the non-working channels to play it. Do you follow?
Feature Enhancements
- Search tool (search by channel name or VOD title)
- Parental Controls
- Add to Favorites (live channels, VOD movies & TV Series)
- Preview & Full-Screen TV Player
- Record (but limited)
- Multi-Screen
- Settings (additional features)
TV Player Apps/Apks Supported
The Xtreme TV service allows you to choose one of two apps to install on your device. You can, however, install one app on one device, and the other app on another device via Addon connections. Or, uninstall the app and install the other app on the same device.
When going through my review of their website (watch video), I went to the ‘Users Guide’. There you will find instructions for the Setup IPTV Smarters Pro app and Setup Xtreme HD IPTV app. I followed the instructions for the latter and I found out it’s just a re-branding of IPTV Smarters Pro.
You will find the compatible devices further up to help you decide on the ones you want to use. I primarily use the Firestick that’s connected to my HDTV, and two smart TVs (LG & Samsung). However, I think this IPTV is using other apps not listed since they are supporting several devices.
Additional Information…
You’ll find the installation instructions when going to the ‘Users Guide’ section. If you are a Firestick, Fire TV, or Fire Cube user, then you need to watch the video tutorial. You can click the video link inside the star-rated XtremeHD IPTV Review further up. When you get to that video, just scroll below to find more video tutorials.
Xtreme HD IPTV claims to be compatible with 100s of apps that work with Xtream Codes or M3u URLs. For Android devices which also include the Firestick, Fire TV, and NVIDIA Shield, they recommend installing the rebranded IPTV Smarters Pro.

Additional Info…
There’s something you need to know when choosing one of the subscription plans on their website. When clicking the ‘Get it now’ button, it will take you to another page but you get a little lost when thinking you are going to the order page.
What you need to do is look towards the top of the page after clicking the ‘Get it now’ button and click the ‘Store’ link. Simply choose the plan you want from the drop-down window.
There is information on refunds when going to the FAQ section on the Xtreme HD IPTV website. What’s written isn’t exactly crystal clear. What I believe they are saying is if you enter into the low-cost 3-day trial, there is no refund. If you enter into the subscription, there can be a refund if certain conditions are met.
You might want to contact customer service on their website to ask for more clarity on refunds.
Subscription Renewals
There is no automatic billing. To renew your subscription, you must return to their website. Look for the ‘Renew’ link at the top or bottom of their website. You can pay any one of the subscription packages and even change subscription plans comes time to renew.
Make sure you remember their name and bookmark their website so that you know how and where to find them when needed. Too many individuals forget the name, don’t know where to go to renew and end up coming to my website for help. I can’t help them.
No one knows what you paid for or where but you and your IPTV service unless you tell someone else. So if you don’t remember the IPTV service name (Xtreme) and can’t find them online, you are out of luck and must start over. Starting over means finding a new IPTV service.
Getting Support & Presales Questions
When visiting the XtremeHDIPTV website, you’ll see 24/7 support written. I’ve tested support myself by asking some questions and they replied to me. It may take a day so you have to be patient. There is no chat box with a live chat agent available.
You can click or select the ‘Support’ link at the top of their website to open a ticket. The form will appear for you to enter your info and message. This can pertain to getting support or asking pre-sales questions. You will find a ‘Get Support’ at the bottom of their emails when you get them. This is another way to create a ticket. I contacted the Xtreme HD IPTV support a couple of times and always got a response.
When you go to the bottom of their website, you will also find their email address and phone number. I’m sure it’s voicemail if you do call them. Xtreme HD IPTV is based out of the United Kingdom as you will see when going to their website, at the bottom.
Pros & Cons
I will provide the upsides and downsides that I found during the review. You should know that I wouldn’t do all this work to write a full review if I thought this IPTV service was a dud. The pros outweigh the cons and I will go over them below.
PROS
What streaming content doesn’t Xtreme doesn’t deliver? As I told you above about all the streaming content delivered, I’m sure you will find more than one source of entertainment. If movies are your thing, you get live movie channels, PPV movies, Netflix movies, and VOD movies. How about TV shows/series, you get them live, PPV, and on-demand.
If sports is your thing, there lies a huge sports package as I explained further up including PPV events. There is something that will delight the entire family. There are some feature enhancements you should like as well such as Add to Favorites, EPG, Parental Controls, and Multi-Screen.
You get access to many of the major TV networks including sports. VOD movies and Series have genres including recently added ones. VOD movies also include new movie releases.
The interfacing and performance are good. No guide is needed. Everything is pretty much self-explanatory when searching, finding, and playing live channels/VODs to watch online
CONS
The recording feature is a bit of a question mark for all compatible streaming devices. As for the Amazon Fire devices, there’s just enough storage to record live channels. You will need an external storage device to set this up. Perhaps in the future, I’ll cover this setup but for now, you might want to review a DVR to help with recording.
You will experience some delay when maneuvering in/out of categories of channels and VODs. Once in a great while, you may even get kicked out of the TV player app/apk and have to reopen it. As for Catch Up, there’s not much there for some reason. Feel free to ask Xtreme HD IPTV why Catch Up is extremely limited with shows. The IPTV records various shows from different TV networks for you.
The number of US local channels you get will be at a minimum. You may get several of them. If you want all your local channels from your area without cable or satellite, buy an indoor HDTV antenna with a radius of 100 to 200+ miles. Simply connect the antenna to the back of the TV and run a channel scan.
In Closing…
Keep in mind there many variations of the Xtreme HD IPTV brand name so don’t get yourself confused when seeing different names.
I gave this IPTV service is big thumbs up and feel confident you will enjoy it as I have. Despite some of the downsides, there’s nothing major to be concerned about.
There were no major disappointments during this review. The Xtreme HD TV service streaming content and delivery were all good including the TV app, features, and performance. I enjoyed watching the entertaining content delivered. There’s so much there. There’s streaming TV entertainment for the entire family. Be sure to watch the Xtreme HD TV review video including the other tutorials.
