Step 1: Firestick Settings – Enable Apps From Unknown Sources
1. Start by opening your Firestick, Fire TV, Fire Cube Home Screen…
2. Scroll to the right and select the Gear icon…
3. Scroll down to find ‘My Fire TV’ and select it to open…
4. Scroll down one level and select/highlight ‘Developer Options’…
5. Scroll down one to select ‘Apps from Unknown Devices’. If it’s already Turned ON, don’t do anything. If OFF, select it to open…
6. Next, select the ‘Turn On’ button…
You are all done here. Go to your Home Screen. Next up is the Downloader app. Along the way, we will get to the LUX Player download/install, subscription, and activation. We must undergo another step below before we can begin the process.
Step 2: Search/Find, Download/Install Downloader App
All 6 steps in Step 1 above must be completed to get here. You now need to complete the 14 steps below…
1. Go to the Home Screen if not already there…
2. Now we must Find and select ‘Search’…
3. When the Typepad opens, type the word ‘downloader’. More than likely you won’t need to type the entire word. When the name ‘downloader’ appears below on the screen, simply scroll down and select the ‘Downloader’ name…
4. The Downloader icon image now appears. Select Downloader…
5. Keep in mind that we need the Downloader app to complete the installation.
Select on the screen where it says ‘Download, You own it‘…
6. Downloader will now start to download…
7… Downloader is now installing…
8. Next step, click ‘Open’ on the screen. This will open Downloader…
9. Next, look toward the bottom of the screen and select the ‘Allow’ button…
10. Now select the ‘OK’ yellow button…
11. You have now completed installing Downloader. It’s opened, and ready for you to enter/type in the LUX Player apk URL.
Step 3: LUX Player IPTV Firestick Signup for Trial/Subscription & Activation
You can install the app before or after signing up to get the IPTV trial or subscription.
Now that you completed Steps 1 and 2 leading up to the download part of things, it’s time to get the IPTV subscription or trial. I have provided several LUX Player IPTV services below. Choose one of the IPTV websites below to sign up, subscribe, or get the trial with activation.

LUX Player App/Apk URL
You will need a very important apk URL for the download/installation. You get this from any one of the IPTVs listed above. But you can look below to write down that URL. Since LUX Player cannot be found inside the Amazon App Store, you must sideload the apk version of the app. That version or file can be found in the Apk directory but you needn’t go there.

Step 4: How to Download LUX Player for Firestick
NOTE: If you want, you can watch the video tutorial directly above to get a visual of all the steps needed to download and install LUX Player. The video covers all the steps in this written guide.
1. You should already have the Downloader app open on your Home screen. Simply scroll up one level from ‘Go’ button (bar). You will see the blinking mouse cursor. Next, select inside the field to open the Typepad.
2. Type in the LUX Player app/apk URL below into the blinking cursor field and scroll down to select the ‘Go’ button…

Step 5: Install LUX Player on Firestick
1. A popup window appears. Scroll right and select the ‘Install’ button…
2. The installation process has now started…
3. The LUX Player installation progress is now completed. Select the ‘Done’ button that’s already highlighted. Do Not select the ‘Open’ button…
4. The how to download and install LUX Player is now completed. It’s time to delete the Apk URL file. We don’t need it anymore.
Scroll right and select the ‘Delete’ button…
5. Next, scroll left and then select the ‘Delete’ button…
6. Use your Firestick remote Home button to return to the Home screen. Notice that LUX Player doesn’t appear. We must move the LUX Player app/apk to the Home screen.
Step 6: Move LUX Player to Firestick Home Screen
1. Scroll to the far right and select the ‘3-square w/ + sign’ icon…
2. You need to find LUXPlayer when scrolling down and highlight the icon image.

3. You have two ways to log into and activate the LUX Player. These activation/login credentials will be provided by the IPTV service that you need right now. Scroll down to find the list of IPTV services that support LUX Play. All you need to do is sign up for one and subscribe or enter into the free trial if available. They will email you the activation/login credentials. When you have them, read below…
- Take the Username approach
- Take the Pin Code approach
NOTE: If you are going to use only one device connection, you can take the Username route to login/activate. If you are going to connect more than one device, then you can choose the PIN Code approach. You get 4 pin codes, one per device connection.

4. A Typepad appears. Enter/Type in one of the four Device Pin Codes that come in an email from the IPTV service. You must pay the subscription or enter into the trial to get the activation/login credentials which include the PIN codes.
5. On the next screen, select the Submit button…
6. That’s it!… Pat yourself on the back. The login/activation is now completed. The app is connected to the IPTV servers. You are now inside the app with the Home screen showing…

Step 8: Choose Your IPTV Service Provider
Select any one of the IPTVs below to sign up to get the subscription or trial, and activate the app/apk. Check your Spam or Junk mail folder in case any or all the emails went there.
