SO Player IPTVs are back. However, SOPlay can no longer be found in the Apple Play Store for reasons unknown. Therefore, you cannot install the app on any Apple/iOS device. That’s the bad news. The good is there’s a very similar app that has the same technology including look and feel. LUX Player is compatible with the same devices as SOPlayer but also compatible with Apple/iOS and Roku devices.

Install App on Firestick (should complete before subscribing)
NOTE: The free trial is not available on weekends whenever there’s a live major PPV fight/boxing event on Saturday. The trial will be available supposedly on Monday whenever this happens. The SOPlay app can also be found inside the Samsung and LG smart TV app stores.
You need to install the app (SO Player) and activate it. The app will connect to the IPTV service (Hurricane) where all the live and on-demand streams come from. This is a free app, not a subscription.
Right after you subscribe, they will email you immediately. One email will have your activation/login details to activate the app to start watching TV online
This IPTV service will deliver many live channels from many popular television networks that are included on cable. A majority of your favorite channels should be available–local, premium, some global, etc.
You can watch live sports, TV shows, movies, news, kids’ channels, and the list goes on. There are no regional channels but you will be able to watch any sporting event live (local, national, international).
Hurricane Streaming on Firestick Requirements
To get started, you will need the following:
- High-Speed Internet Connection (30 Mbps or higher – the higher the better)
- Free SO Player App to connect with IPTV service provider (Hurricane)
- Streaming Device (Amazon Fire Devices, iOS Devices, Android Devices, NVIDIA Shield, Apple TV, Computer [Windows/Mac], Mag Box, Tablet)

The video tutorial will show the steps to set up your Firestick settings, download/install the Downloader app, and how to install the Hurricane Streaming Firestick App, which is the SO Player app.

Once the app is installed on your device and after you activate it, you are ready to watch your favorites online. The video above takes you through everything and you will see streams play before signing up to Hurricane.
Additional Info…
You can connect up 4 compatible streaming devices simultaneously but only one smartphone can be used when traveling–no other device. A VPN service isn’t needed and cannot be used with this IP Lock IPTV service.

If you have a smart TV with an internal app store and you cannot find the SO Player app, then you must buy/use a streaming media device such as Fire TV/Firestick, Apple TV, NVIDIA Shield, or Mag Box. Install SO Player to the streaming media device.
If you have multiple HDTVs and/or Smart TVs, you can easily connect one Firestick per TV. Family members can watch whatever they want as well.
The Hurricane Streaming on Firestick setup shouldn’t take you long to complete. Just make sure you have every needed as I explained above.
