Watch the Hurricane Streaming on Firestick video review to see it all in action. You will see all the features, navigation, and watch live/VOD streams play. Afterward, you will know whether or not this IPTV service is right for you.
This IPTV service is no longer accepting new customers. Current subscribers may be able to renew their subscriptions but we don’t know how long this will last.
If you can no longer renew, can’t get support, SO Player no longer works, can’t find the IPTV service website online anymore, then you must choose a different IPTV service provider with a different app.
Let me be clear… Many, if not all SO Player IPTV services have closed their doors to new customers and stopped allowing subscription renewals. We don’t know the reason why.
There is a top IPTV service (an alternative) that you can sign up to get a trial or subscription. We had to remove 7 IPTVs due to what is stated above.

Install App on Firestick (should complete before subscribing)
You need to install the app (SO Player) and activate it. The app will connect to the IPTV service (Hurricane) where all the live and on-demand streams come from. This a free app, not a subscription.
Right after you subscribe, they will email you immediately. One email will have your activation/login details to activate the app to start watching TV online
This IPTV service will deliver many live channels from many popular television networks that are included on cable. A majority of your favorite channels should be available–local, premium, some global, etc.
You can watch live sports, TV shows, movies, news, kids channels, and the list goes on. There are no regional channels but you will be able to watch any sporting event live (local, national, international).
Hurricane Streaming on Firestick Requirements
To get started, you will need the following:
- High-Speed Internet Connection (30 Mbps or higher – higher the better)
- Free SO Player App to connect with IPTV service provider (Hurricane)
- Streaming Device (Amazon Fire Devices, iOS Devices, Android Devices, NVIDIA Shield, Apple TV, Computer [Windows/Mac], Mag Box, Tablet)
You will get instructions on how to install the SO Player to your device at the Hurricane Streaming Website or you can Click Here. The video tutorial will show the steps to set up your Firestick settings, download/install the Downloader app, and how to install the Hurricane Streaming Firestick App, which is actually the SO Player app.
Download and Install Hurricane Streaming Firestick App (SOPlayer)
You can find all the steps by watching the video tutorial HERE. There are other video tutorials on how to install the app to other compatible devices on the same page when you get there.
Once the app is installed on your device and after you activate it, you are ready to watch your favorites online. The video above takes you through everything and you will see streams play before signing up to Hurricane.
You can connect up 4 compatible streaming devices simultaneously but only one smartphone can be used when traveling–no other device. A VPN service isn’t needed and cannot be used with this IP Lock IPTV service.
The best streaming device to use is the Amazon Fire Stick which is the cheapest and comes with Alexa Voice and remote control. Learn More Here.
If you have a smart TV with an internal app store and you cannot find the SO Player app, then you must buy/use a streaming media device such as Fire TV/Firestick, Apple TV, NVIDIA Shield, or Mag Box. Install SO Player to the streaming media device.
If you have multiple HDTVs and/or Smart TVs, you can easily connect one Firestick per TV. Family members can watch whatever they want as well.
The Hurricane Streaming on Firestick setup shouldn’t take you long to complete. Just make sure you have every needed as I explained above.
