This how-to setup installation guide covers the Xtreme HD IPTV on Firestick download/installation setup, the XtremeHD IPTV app/apk, and setup/activation via IPTV service. IPTV Smarters is the app/apk that was branded by this IPTV service.
You can either install or keep using IPTV Smarters (Pro or Lite version) if already installed on your compatible device. If you don’t have that app installed, you will be installing the Xtreme branded version of Smarters Pro which has a more attractive look (theme) inside.
Already have the Xtreme HD IPTV app or IPTV Smarters Pro app installed? Then all you need is a top IPTV service. Read the UPDATE section in red below and read it if you don’t have the app installed.
When you go through the Xtreme HD IPTV Apk download in the Firestick written guide below, it will cover 7 steps. I added Step 8 if you prefer to use IPTV Smarters Pro instead – See Table of Contents below. Just know both apps are the same. Just some minor differences in the look inside the TV player and the Xtreme branded app has some extra features. So you might want to install that app.
IPTV Smarters Already Installed
If you have IPTV Smarters already installed on your Firestick or Fire TV device and did nothing else, only complete steps 5-7. If you don’t have IPTV Smarters installed and rather use it instead of the branded Xtreme app/apk, do the following: Complete steps 1, 2 & 6-8. Instead of typing the Xtreme apk URL or shortcode in the Downloader app, type the IPTV Smarters apk URL below:

Branded XtremeHD IPTV App
Besides Xtreme supporting some of the popular TV apps out there, they have their rebranded the IPTV Smarters Pro. I installed the apk on my Firestick and it worked very well. The layout design is different but better and you get some extra features.
Xtreme HD IPTV Download for Other Compatible Devices
The Xtreme HD IPTV branded TV player is the same as IPTV Smarters Pro, meaning the technology is the same. You get the same streaming content from the IPTV service as well but some of the features available may be slightly different.
Whichever app/apk you decide to install, both are compatible with almost the same devices. For iOS/Apple devices, you must install the Smarters Player Lite version.

May be able to use the IPTV Smarters Web TV Player and use the Safari web browser or any browser for Linux.
Devices w/ Android Operating System
Devices that use the Android operating systems such as the Firestick, Fire TV, and NVIDIA Shield must use the Xtreme apk URL. This will be revealed when following the computer download/installation guide further down.
Important Note:
Understand for devices that use the Android operation systems such as the Fire TV, Firestick, and NVIDIA Shield, the Downloader app must be installed first. The reason is you are not going to find IPTV smarters in the internal app store of those devices.

The Web TV player opens inside any web browser so you don’t need to download or install an app. See the screenshot below…
You will create and type in your Profile name, and use the same activation/login credentials as you would for the TV app download. Therefore, I would think Linux can use the same Web TV Player but I am not 100% sure and don’t own a Linux.
How to Get Xtreme HD IPTV on Firestick
When you visit the Xtreme website, hover over the UserGuide link in the menu section at the top of their website. A list will open, you can select ‘Setup Xtreme HD IPTV App’ or select ‘Xtreme IPTV Smarters App’ to get the instructions.
Again, the Xtreme app/apk is just a branded name of the IPTV Smarters but has a better look and feel. You can stay here and just follow the written steps below or watch the video tutorial…

NOTE: I made some mistakes in the video when telling you there was another part to installing the Downloader app. How I downloaded and installed the app in the video was correct and nothing more is needed.
I got ahead of myself when thinking about downloading/installing the TV player. So what you see in the video tutorial is exactly the way it should be. Just forget what I said right after installing Downloader.
Another mistake…
I said this was an IP Lock IPTV service/app. It uses a No IPTV Lock system instead. This means you can change your IP address and use a VPN service if you want. Nothing is stopping you from connecting to any compatible device when traveling or in a different location throughout the world. With IP Lock IPTVs, you don’t have those privileges.
Also, if you are already using a VPN service, make sure you turn it off when going through the installation process and setup.

This setup does require extra steps simply because you cannot find the app inside the Amazon App Store. It’s the same thing for the IPTV Smarters Pro app, you won’t find it. What we must do is sideload the apk version of the app that will be downloaded from the apk directory. But you will need to install the Downloader app first to complete the task.
This is the best way to get the setup completed. When logging into the TV player (apk), you can begin watching your favorites online.

Step 1: Enable Apps From Unknown Sources
Again, you won’t find either one of the TV player apps inside the Amazon App Store. So we must sideload the apk version of the app to complete the following: How to download Xtreme HD IPTV on Firestick and installation, or if you want to download/install IPTV Smarters Pro.
1. Using your Firestick remote, go to your TV Home Screen.
2. Scroll right to the end. Highlight and select the Gear icon.
3. Scroll to the bottom to highlight and select, ‘My Fire TV.
4. Scroll download one to highlight and select, ‘Developer Options’.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
If for some reason you’re unable to see the ‘Developer Options’ on your Firestick, follow these steps:
- On your Fire TV, open Settings, Select My Fire TV then Select About.
- Highlight the first Name of your Device, Press the Select button from your Remote continuously for 7 times.
- When complete you should see a message telling you you’re already a developer.
- Go back to My FireTV and then you will see Developer Options there.
- Just open that menu and then Turn it on.
Continue with the next steps…
5. Scroll down one time to highlight, ‘Apps from Unknown Sources’. If it is Turned ON, do nothing. If it’s turned OFF, select ‘Apps from Unknown Sources’ when highlighted.
6. With ‘Turn On’ button highlighted, select to ‘Turn On’.
7. Next, use the Firestick remote to Return to the Home Screen
Step 2: Search, Find, Download & Install Downloader App
This is the next important part of our Xtreme IPTV Apk Firestick setup.
Downloader is required to complete the download and install Xtreme HD IPTV on the Firestick setup which is the branded app. Or, if you want complete the download/install using the IPTV Smarters Pro instead.
NOTE: There are two ways to search and find the Downloader app. If you have Alexa Voice, you can press-hold the button on the remote and do a voice command by saying, “Downloader.” Alexa will find and take you to the Downloader app quickly. Another way is you can do this manually when following the steps below…
1. While on the Home Screen and using your Firestick remote, scroll left to highlight the magnifying glass (Find) and select it.
2. Next, scroll down to highlight and select the Search bar.
3. Type the name Downloader on the TypePad. You shouldn’t have to type all the letters. Downloader will appear below. Simply scroll down to highlight and select the Downloader name.
4. Whether you used Alexa Voice or the manual way to get here, highlight and select the Downloader icon.
5. Now select, ‘Download You Own It’ with the round shape on the left of it.
6. The Downloader app is now downloading/installing.
7. Select ‘Open’ with the round image to the left of it.
8. ‘Allow’ is already highlighted, just select it using the remote.
9. Now select the yellow OK bar.
10. Great job!… You’ve just completed installing Downloader. Now the 2nd part will guide you through the download installation process.
Step 3: How to Download Xtreme HD on Firestick
I told you earlier where you can go to get setup instructions when visiting their website. First I am going to show how to download, and then how to install Xtreme on the Firestick. I will also show you how to download/install the Smarters Pro further down.
1. From the gold ‘Go’ bar (now gray), scroll up one time to highlight to get the blinking cursor to appear in the blank field. You can’t see the blinking cursor in the screenshot below. It was blinking too fast.
2a. There are two ways you can start the IPTV Apk download process. One way is typing in the 5-digit shortcode on the Typepad and the other way is typing in the full apk URL. I have provided screenshots 2a and 2b so that you can see both ways. Typing in the shortcode is the easiest, quickest way.
Type in the 5-digit Xtreme HD IPTV Downloader code or URL: 250235
NOTE: You can use/type in either the code or URL above to download the apk version of the app.
2b. Or, you can type in the Apk URL: https://aftv.news/250235
3. The Xtreme HD IPTV on Firestick has now started and is connecting to find the apk file in the apk directory.
4. The download has now officially begun.
Step 4: How to Install XtremeHD IPTV on Firestick
Step 4 is a continuation of Step 3.
1. Highlight and select the ‘Install’ link.
2. Xtreme TV Firestick install process taking place.
3. The installation is Now Completed but we are not done yet.
4. Now we need to delete the apk URL file. We don’t want it to take up storage space on the Firestick.
Scroll right to highlight and select the ‘Delete’ button.
5. Now scroll left to highlight and select the ‘Delete’ button again.
6. Using your Firestick remote, go back to the Home Screen.
Step 5: Move Xtreme HD IPTV to Firestick Home Screen
You are not going to see the Xtreme icon on your Firestick Home Screen. More than likely you want to see it there so let’s do this now.
1. From the Home Screen scroll right, highlight, and select the 3-Square+ icon. This will take you to the section where your apps are stored.
2. Your apps and channels section.
3. Scroll Download to Find and Highlight XHD IPTV. Next, press the 3-line button on your Firestick remote. Notice the white print at the bottom of the screenshot below telling what to press on your remote…
4. On the right side, scroll down to Highlight and Select ‘Move to Front’.
5. Notice now that XHD IPTV moved to the top left of the screen…
6. The Xtreme icon now appears on the Home Screen where it should be. Easy to find and open.
That’s it!… You can now pat yourself on the back.
As you can see, there are many steps but once you complete them, you will only need to enter your activation/login credentials to use the TV player to watch TV online. You will see this further down.

Step 6: IPTV Service Signup, Subscription & Activation/Login Credentials
Getting the Xtreme IPTV Apk Service Subscription or Low-Cost Trial & Activation/Login Credentials…
Now that the how to download and installation of the Xtreme HD IPTV on Firestick setup is out of the way, we must activate the app/apk (TV player). It’s time to talk about signing up to get the IPTV service subscription or low-cost trial, and activation/login credentials.
If you already signed up and paid for the Xtreme HD IPTV Firestick subscription or low-cost trial and already received your activation/login credentials, then you can skip ahead. Remember, I posted a video tutorial at the top of this guide so that you can get a complete visual.
But before you run off, you do need to read what’s below. It will educate you and help you avoid unnecessary issues down the road.
Functions of the IPTV Service and TV app/apk — Basic Understanding
- You should always start with identifying the ideal IPTV service first. Why? Because they tell you what app or apps they support and what devices are compatible. They deliver all the streaming TV and VOD content. No TV app delivers any streaming content by itself. The IPTV service provides support for the TV player and streaming content they deliver.
- When your subscription ends and you want to renew, you must go back to the same IPTV service website where you signed up and paid your money. That’s where your account is at. Never go searching online for other websites to help you. They can’t help and don’t know anything about your account or what you paid for. Generally, IPTV services don’t have automatic billing.
- Always remember the name of your IPTV service and how to find their website online. Save all the IPTV emails that come your way and know where to find them when needed. You must be very organized. Also, bookmark/save the IPTV service website so you have another way to find them.
If you don’t have an XHD IPTV service subscription, then it’s time to get one.

Expect to receive emails from XHD IPTV right after you sign up and subscribe. If you don’t see any emails from them, then you need to look in your Junk folder or Spam folder for them. If any emails are there, move them to your regular email inbox.
You must be patient and give them time to approve your payment and set up your account. The final email will have your activation/login credentials such as Username and Password. There will be links, app/apk URLs, instructions, and additional info. But it may take up to 24 hours before you get that email.
Additional Info…
Make sure to save all emails to retrieve them later. Stay organized. Many individuals lose their emails, don’t remember the IPTV service name alone don’t know what it is. They don’t know how to find the IPTV service website and are lost. Don’t be one of them.
You don’t want to create unnecessary issues for yourself. Once you have your activation/login credentials, follow the steps below or watch the video further up.
You must write down your activation/login credentials which will be your Username and Password. Just like you had to write down the Xtreme HD IPTV Firestick apk URL and shortcode. The apk URL or shortcode is needed to complete the download and install of the app/apk on the Firestick.
NOTE: Make sure you turn off your VPN service if it’s on. You can use it later when getting ready to watch TV online.
Step 7: How to Setup, Activate/Log Into Xtreme TV Player App/Apk
1. From the Firestick Home Screen, scroll right to highlight and select the XHD IPTV icon.
The technology in the TV Player will detect your device but make sure it’s correct. For me, it was TV which was set by default.
2. Click the ‘Save’ button.
3. Next, is the Add New User Screen.
Scroll to the upper right corner to highlight and select, ‘Add User’. Or scroll down to the center of the screen to select it.
Now you are on the XDH IPTV Login Details screen.
4. Highlight and select the Username field at the top.
TypePad popup appears
5. Type in the Username that XHD IPTV sent you in the email. You should already have this written down including your Password. After typing in the Username, select the ‘Next’ button.
Now type in the Password and select the ‘Next’ button again.
NOTE: Double-check what you typed for the Username. The same thing with the Password. Get either one wrong and you will not be able to enter inside the TV Player. If this is the case, you will need to correct your Username and/or Password entry first.
6. Next, scroll below to highlight and select ‘Add User’.
NOTE: To see what you typed in for your Password, look at the Password field. At the far right, there is an icon with a slash through it. Click it and you will be able to see your Password.
7. There’s a bit of a waiting period that comes next.
8. Harray!👍… Now the XHD IPTV Player Home Screen appears. Now you see what’s inside of the TV player apk on the Firestick. Again, it’s a branded TV app that uses the IPTV Smarters Pro technology. The look and feel are different. The image below shows you the Xtreme name. They branded the IPTV Smarters Pro with a different look but everything else is totally the same.
You must select ‘Download’ (white print) to download the live TV channels and let it finish. Do the same thing for the VOD Movies and VOD Series.

Step 8: How to Download/Install IPTV Smarters app/apk on Firestick
Two things I want to say here: 1. I provided the Install IPTV Smarters Pro video tutorial below for you to watch; 2. You will see a little bit more than what I could show you in this writen guide with images.
In the video tutorial below, the IPTV Smarters Pro apk URL was typed in the Downloader but I’ve also provided another URL that you can use. So it’s either one or the other apk URL below. You need to write down one or the other or both if you want to have one of each.

Here’s what you need to do to complete the IPTV Smarters apk installation steps:
- Read through Steps 1 and 2 further up and complete that part if you have not
- Read through Step 3.2a & b but DO NOT type in the Xtreme HD IPTV Downloader code or URL. Instead, write down and type in the IPTV Smarters Pro Apk URL below… https://www.iptvsmarters.com/smarters.apk
- Step 4 further up is a continuation of Step 3 so complete step 4 but you will be downloading/installing the IPTV Smarters Pro Apk
- Step 5, same thing here. Think IPTV Smarters instead of XtremeHD IPTV. All the steps are the same. You are only changing the app/apk (a.k.a. Xtreme HD IPTV downloader code).
- When you get to section 7.1 further up, skip it and everything that follows. Use the steps with screenshots below instead.
- Watch the video tutorial above that shows the complete download/install IPTV SmartersPro setup with all the steps.
NOTE: In the video above, it will take you further into the app/apk to set it up. This part is important so make sure to watch the video. Again, you will find instructions on the XHD IPTV website.
IPTV Smarters Pro Setup & Activation/Login
1. On the Home Screen, scroll to the right to highlight the IPTV Smarters Pro icon and select it.
2. Now loading the IPTV Smarters Apk Player.
3a. Scroll to the bottom of the Terms of Use page
3b. The ‘Accept’ button is now highlighted so select it.
4. Scroll to highlight and select the ‘Login with Xtream Codes API’ button.
This is the time to sign up to get the trial or subscription with activation if you have not already done so. Click the ‘Click Here’ link below…

If you already entered into the trial or paid the subscription and received the email with your Username, Password, and the Portal URL, enter that information below. You will need to write down those login details to type in the IPTV Smarter Player explained below…
NOTE: If you don’t see any emails from XHD IPTV immediately after signing up to get the subscription or trial, check inside your Junk or Spam folder. Sometimes emails will be sent there instead. If you see any of their emails in that folder, move them into your regular email inbox.
5. Highlight and select the ‘Any Name’ field.
6. The TypePad appears now type in Any Name which becomes your Profile Name. Then scroll down to highlight and select the ‘Next’ button.
I’m not going to add any more screenshots of the login steps. When you select the Next button on the TypePad, it will then ask you to type in the Username so type that in. Scroll down to highlight and select the ‘Next’ button. You will repeat this when typing in the Username and repeat it when typing in the Portal URL.
7. The ‘Add User’ button is already highlighted so select the ‘Add User’ button.
8. The List Users screen appears and the User was added successfully which is what you need to see on your end with a different Profile name. When you add another User, they will have their display like yours.
With your User Profile already highlighted, select it.
9. Successfully Logged in and is now downloading all the streaming content to the IPTV Smarters Player.
10. The IPTV Smarters Pro Home Screen now appears and you have access to all the streaming TV/VOD content. Enjoy!
Xtreme HD IPTV Apk Firestick – Final Notes
I provided both the video tutorial and a step-by-step written guide covering the main 3 areas below…
- Download Xtreme (branded) on Firestick or Fire TV
- Install Xtreme on Fire Stick or,
- Download/Install IPTV Smarters Pro App/Apk on Firestick
Outside of this, I broke things down even further by giving you a total of 7 steps to follow. This included Step 8 if you rather install the IPTV Smarters player instead. Yes, it does take some time to get through the entire setup but you reap the rewards when all is said and done. And yes, you will need to rinse and repeat the entire installation and setup if you want to use other Firesticks connected to additional TVs.
Additional Notes…
Remember also that you can swap IPTV services using the same TV player. You are never stuck with using just one IPTV service. However, you won’t be able to continue using the branded app. But in this case, the branded TV Player is IPTV Smarters Pro. You can uninstall the branded TV player and install IPTV Smarters. Both apps (TV Player) are the same. The IPTV service (Xtreme) simply branded the app.
You can install the branded XtremeHD IPTV app / apk or the supported IPTV Smarters Pro app.
If you feel the Xtreme HD IPTV on Firestick download/install is a bit much, I certainly understand. There are easier setups with fewer steps for other compatible devices. But I recommend you stick with this. There’s a higher reward when having a very popular TV player that has more features than other players.
But when using the Firestick or Fire TV device, you still must set up the same parameter in Settings and install the Downloader app. This completes the Firestick Xtreme HD IPTV Apk How-To Guide.
