You can opt into the Rockspheres free trial or the Rockspheres subscription. However, if you are new to watching web TV or IPTV services, then I suggest entering into the free trial. In the video above, I walk you through the signup process for the trial and subscription.
I went for the trial and you will see the entire process from beginning to end. I suggest watching all the related videos below to learn everything. There’s important information you need to know to avoid making mistakes. You will also find a link below that will take you directly to this IPTV service to sign up.
Since you already know the name of the IPTV service, in this case, Rockspheres, you can go ahead and install the SO Player. You can install that free app first if you want but you will need the activation/login credentials from Rockspheres.
Now let’s go through the free trial and subscription signup information.
6/12/24 UPDATE:
We were recently told new customers can no longer subscribe to Rockspheres. However, current subscribers can still renew their subscriptions. If you cannot register, visit the alternative SO Player IPTV Service below…

3/28/23 UPDATE:
You must watch the video above.
If you are trying to become a new customer/subscriber of Rockspheres, you will not be able to. They reached the maximum number of subscribers and did not accept any more new customers. Don’t worry… I have an alternative SOPlayer IPTV service waiting in the wings.
They have the same streaming content, features, apps, and so on. Just a different brand and other minor things. Simply click the link above to get your subscription and activation. You can still read everything on this post and click the links below to watch Rockspheres video tutorials. This will give you an idea of what you are getting. Just a different name but the same kind of streaming TV and VOD service.

Rockspheres Free Trial ***Put on hold
Newcomers as well as experienced IPTV service users will get limited access when opting into the Rockspheres free trial. At least that’s what is written on their website. If this is true, then my guess is PPV events are blocked since a lot of people like to game IPTV services.
You get 3 days to test everything which is more than enough time. You’ll see in my other videos where I cover everything inside the SO Player app connected to the Rockspheres IPTV service. The free trial does not require a credit card. You simply sign up by entering your info for what’s required. This will create your IPTV account.
Remember the email address you signed up with. This will be your username. You must also create a password. It’s best to write or save both your username and password. You will need both when revisiting the Rockspheres TV website and clicking the My Account link to sign in.
Once the free trial ends, you must decide whether or not to pay one of the two subscription plans — see below…
Rockspheres Subscription Plan
The signup process is the same as the free Trial process, only you will need a credit card. There’s only one Rockspheres subscription plan available as follows:
- 1-Month, 4 Device Connections: $25.00
I suggest watching the video above to see with your own eyes the signup process. There is no automatic recurring billing so when your subscription ends, you must revisit the Rockspheres website. You can renew your subscription by paying for either the one-month or three-month plan. You can flip-flop between plans when renewing your subscription.
There’s not much to this signup process and nothing that should confuse you. You can get this done within a couple of minutes.
What to Expect After Signing Up for Trial or Subscription
Right after you complete the Rockpheres free trial signup or the Rockspheres subscription signup, expect to receive emails immediately. You will also be led to the final page after signing up that will provide your activation/login credentials. This will be the Provider ID, 4 Device Pin Codes, Username, and Password.
You will get a few emails with one providing the activation/login credentials also. Rockspheres is a new IPTV service and website when I reviewed them. I did not receive any installation instructions and certainly no instructions posted on their website.
But don’t worry, installing the SO Player app isn’t hard to do. You can find that app in the Google Player Store and Apple Play Store. And you can find SOPlayer inside the LG smart TV that has a built-in app store. If you can’t find the app inside your device, then this means your device is not compatible.
If you are going to use the Firestick or Fire TV, you won’t find the app inside the Amazon app store. Therefore, you must sideload the apk version of the app. This means extra steps are required. I suggest you watch the installation video by clicking the link I posted above.
Additional Info…
You must activate the SO Player app to use it to watch the streaming content inside. Keep in mind that the app does nothing on your compatible device once the app is installed. You need an IPTV service that activates the app and delivers all the live channels and on-demand movies plus TV shows.
If you don’t see any emails from Rockspheres, look inside your Spam or Junk mail folder. If any emails are there, you must move them into your regular email inbox. This will ensure all future emails will go to your regular email inbox.
In Closing…
SO Player IPTV services like this are one of the most user-friendly to use and set up. If you already have the app installed and connected to another IPTV service in the past, here’s what you do.
If your other subscription ends, you can get a Rockspheres free trial or Rockspheres subscription. You will get a new set of activation/login credentials. You cannot use the old credentials from the other IPTV service. Just activate the app with the new credentials from this IPTV service. If there is an activation issue, just contact Rockspheres support to resolve the issue.
