The Golden IPTV SmartQ Player is a Desktop web TV player that you will like. It’s a nice addition to their downloadable branded TV app. Windows users can use it but I’m not sure about Mac and Linux users at this time. I could go on telling about my good experience when testing everything but I’ll let the video above show you.
You get to see everything with your own two eyes and not just take my word for it. I couldn’t possibly test everything but you can enter into the free trial and test for yourself and what interests you.
I did not show you the login procedure in the video above. You will need to make up a profile name. I simply entered my initials… pbs. You must also enter the Username and Password which will come in an email from the Golden IPTV. Very simple and needs no explanation.

Free Trial removed. There is no more free trial. Only subscriptions are available.
SmartQ Desktop Web TV Player URL
To install the Golden TV SmartQ player on your Windows computer (desktop or laptop), you will need the URL. Just copy/paste the URL below into your web browser’s address bar and enter it to commence the download.

Golden IPTV SmartQ Web TV Player Setup Instructions
When clicking the URL above, you will be taken to the SmartQ Setup page. See the installation steps below:
1. Click the Download button to start the process.
NOTE: Another page will appear but ignore the written message.
2. Click the ‘Download Anyway’ button.
NOTE: I used my Google Chrome web browser. If you use that browser, you will see the download process taking place in the lower left corner of the browser.
3. When the download process completes, click to open.
4. Click the ‘Show in Folder’ link.
5. Highlight and drag the SmartQ Setup exe. file to your desktop screen.
6. Next, double-click the SmartQ Setup icon to commence the installation.
7. Either the SmartQ desktop web TV player will open automatically or you must double-click the SmartQ icon to open it. Be sure not to click the SmartQ Setup icon again. This will only install the TV player app again.
NOTE: the Enter Your Login Details screen will appear.
8. Create your profile name. In the ‘Any Name’ field, type any name you want for yourself.
NOTE: You can create a profile name for each member of your household the next time around.
9. Enter/Type in your Username and Password
NOTE: You will get the login credentials via email after you sign up for the trial or subscription.
10. Click the ‘Add User. button.
Can’t Log into SmartQ – ‘Invalid Details’
If you get an ‘Invalid Details’ message after entering your Username and password and clicking the button, take note of the following: A security application running in the background on your computer can block the Golden IPTV SmartQ player app and block you from logging into the app.
This is what happened to me. I had to give my BitDefender security application permission to accept SmartQ and that’s how I was able to log into the SmartQ Desktop TV app. Therefore, you must do the same if you have security software running in the background and this issue occurs.
