Get Block TV SO Player Alternatives

You might be wondering why Block TV alternatives when you’re focusing on this one. We no longer recommend this service after test-reviewing them years ago. Don’t get me wrong you can go ahead with them if that’s what you want to do. But you could be missing out on several other IPTVs that support SO Player and LUX Player. Both apps are extremely similar with IPTV services being the same.

Did you know that you can switch to another IPTV service very easily that supports the same app? Even if you installed the Block TV App (SOPlayer) already, you can go to any SO Player IPTV service to sign up, subscribe, and activate.

We have test-reviewed many IPTV services supporting different TV apps over the years. So to lower the learning curve and keep you from having to surf the web, we have done all the work for you.

What Is An IPTV Service?

Simply put, it’s an all-in-one streaming TV/VOD service that brings together all kinds of live channels, premium channels/networks. You can watch sports, news, movies, kids channels, and so much more from countries such as the US, CA, and UK including Spanish and French channels for starters.

They also deliver VOD movies with popular genres and new releases and TV series with seasons/episodes. But that’s not all, they deliver other streaming content such as PPV, adult, etc. You get an EPG (Electronic Programming Guide) / TV Guide, can add VOD to favorites, and other features.

You don’t need cable or satellite TV, not even fiber. These streaming TV/VOD services are not affiliated with any of them. Everything comes from the web when having an Internet service (ISP), and compatible device with the TV app installed. No antenna, receiver, or set-top box is needed. Block TV would be considered an IPTV service.

Additional Info…

Everything starts with the IPTV service that you choose. You go to that website to sign up and purchase the low-cost subscription or opt into the free trial if available. This is where all the streaming live channels and VODs come from.

They email your activation/login credentials such as the Provider ID, Username/Password, and 4 Device Pin Codes. This is needed to activate the app (hence: SOPlayer or LUX Player) that connects to the IPTV service servers.

Already remember the IPTV service name and know where to find their website. You must return to that website to renew the subscription when time. Should you need support at any time, simply go back to the IPTV service website to get help.

BlockTV Subscription & Other IPTVs

Why settle for IPTV when you can have many SO Player IPTV services at your fingertips? Did you know that SO Player IPTV services will close their doors to new customers once they reach the maximum number of subscribers? Did you know after that only a partial website appears just like the Block TV website now appears? Once upon a time, they had a full website.

When phase I happens only current customers can renew their subscription. Sometime after the SO Player IPTV could go out of service–phase II. Meaning close down never to return. So I am preparing you right now to get some more SO Player IPTVs and not settling for only the Block TV SO player or one IPTV service alone.

Mark my word you will need the other IPTVs, at least one of them while saving the rest. The Block TV subscription process is the same as the others. But the others offer free trials when available. Only when the big fights/boxing/special events come during a particular weekend the free trial is not available. But the trial will become available during the following week.

Block TV App

If you haven’t figured it out by now, the Block TV app is nothing more than the SO Player app. It’s a free app that can be easily installed on any compatible streaming device. If your device has an internal app store, just search for SO Player. If you find it, install it. If you can’t find it, then your device is not compatible.

Many individuals install the app first but fail to understand no streaming content will be delivered. In other words, they cannot watch TV online. At least not until you sign up, subscribe, and get the activation/login credentials from the IPTV service supporting the SO Player app.

The Block TV app – IPTV service alternatives will include other SO Player IPTVs as well as LUX Player IPTVs. Why am I giving you many of these IPTVs? Because having more is always best through my experience.

Additional Info…

SO Player can no longer be found in the Apple Player Store so if you don’t already have it installed, you won’t be able to use the app on your iOS/Apple devices. However, LUX Player is compatible with iOS/Apple devices and can be found in the Apple Player Store. Not only that but that app is also compatible with Roku. You will have access to a few of them as well.

So if you want to add Block TV to your list of SO Player IPTVs, nothing is stopping you. You’ll just have one extra one. But if you rather find a SO Player IPTV with a full website with helpful content, then you’ll want to see the others that I have for you. You can find the list below.

With our recommended IPTVs you’ll discover soon, read the full review with pros and cons included. No IPTV service is perfect but we get real and point things out to you. You will also have access to video reviews and tutorials. We even show how to install SOPlayer on the Firestick and install it on your computer. We did the same thing for the Block TV IPTV and Block TV app (SO Player) back in the day.

Alternative SO Player IPTVs

I have provided a few SO Player IPTV services and a few LUX Player IPTV services. Both IPTVs pretty much have the same streaming content. The app names are different (SO Player or LUX Player). Both apps work the same way. However, the SO Player app can no longer be found in the Apple Play Store. But you can find the LUX Player app there.

LUX Player is also compatible with Roku. Both apps are compatible with the other streaming devices. You get the same activation/login credentials except for LUX Player, the Provider ID isn’t required.

Should something go wrong where you are dissatisfied with the Block TV subscription or the service goes down, you now have other IPTVs to choose from. You can use any SO Player IPTV service alternative above and continue watching your favorites online. Or, you can just go with a LUV Player IPTV service. Enjoy!
