On April 28, 2022, I discovered that you can’t find FuboTV on Samsung smart TV anymore. You can, however, find the app inside the LG smart TV app store. I don’t know what happened that caused the app to be removed from Samsung. And I don’t know whether or not the app will appear again.
So here’s what you can do if you want to subscribe to FuboTV. You need to think about using either a Samsung smart TV if you have one or a compatible streaming device. As for the latter, the easiest and cheapest way to go is the Firestick.
Just connect that device to your smart TV, activate it, and you’re good to go.
FuboTV on Your Samsung Smart TV…
- Purchase an Amazon Firestick Here if you don’t already have one. The Firestick is the most popular and powerful streaming device that most if not all streaming TV services are compatible to.
- Sign up to Amazon to Create Your Free Account Here. You can do this first if you want. Just make sure to save your Username and Password. You must connect your Amazon account to the Firestick.
- Connect the Firestick to your TV and follow the step-by-step instructions on screen. You will be required to enter your Amazon Username and Password.
- Inside the Firestick home screen, simply press/hold the Alexa Voice command button and say, ‘FuboTV app’. The app appears immediately to download/install. Or, you can do a manual Search.
- Download and install the FuboTV app to the Firestick.
- Signup and subscribe to FuboTV. Enter the login details for Fubo into the app to signin/activate to watch TV online.
That’s all there is to it. You can search Youtube to find a video that walks you through the entire process if you want. You can think of this solution if you can’t find Fubotv on LG Smart TV anymore.

How to Install FuboTV on Fire TV or Firestick

No Big Deal If You Can’t Find FuboTV on Samsung Smart TV
I have the Firestick connected to each one of my smart TVs (Samsung & LG) including HDTV. I like the remote control a lot better than a TV remote. There are far fewer functions/buttons on the Firestick remote that enables you to get where you want to go and do things faster.
In fact, I’m willing to wager that the can’t find FuboTV on Samsung smart TV issue will become an afterthought. Even if the app shows up again inside the Samsung app store, you will be so spoiled using the Firestick.
The Firestick cost under $40.00 on Amazon. You probably can find it cheaper elsewhere. I’m just giving you a quick fix to get you to start watching your favorites online as quickly as possible. You are going to use your smart TV screen to watch everything coming from the Firestick with Fubo app connected to the FuboTV service. I hope I didn’t confuse you there.
Get a Firestick 4K whether or not you have a smart TV 4k but if you do, you are going to love the picture quality. As far as your Internet connection speed goes, I recommend having 60 Mpbs or more. The faster your Internet connection speed the better the performance and picture quality. If you can afford 100 Mbps or more, not only will you be able to stream SD, HD, FHD, and 4K but 8K also.
In Addition…
For your primary smart TV or streaming device that you are going to use to watch most of your TV online, use a hard-wired connection. With FuboTV, you shouldn’t have to be concerned with any consistent buffering. Read the Full Review Here.
Just make sure you have a fast Internet connection. I say have more so that if other household members are going to connect to FuboTV, you will have enough speed. The same thing applies when more people are online using the same ISP (Internet Service Provider) as you such as Comcast.
Let’s say the FuboTV app does show up again inside the internal app store. The question is will it disappear again. Let’s say you buy a new smart TV and need to install the Fubo app again. It’s best to have multiple compatible (different) devices. This is why I have LG and Samsung smart TVs, HDTV, and 3 Firesticks.
Now that you know how to resolve the I can’t find FuboTV on Samsung smart TV issue. You can do this with ease and make a small investment to purchase the Firestick. This also applies should the time comes when you can’t find Fubotv on LG Smart TV when searching for it.
