Pros and Cons. When using this service and software to watch streaming channels and videos online, there are some downsides that exists which are typical in all these products.

One downside is some channels will come and go, due to broken links now and then or different time zones from your own where a channel doesn’t play right then and there. However, playing that channel at a later time should work.

Another downside is sometimes you’ll experience poor picture quality and ‘choppy’ video. This issue could be related to having a sub-par Internet connection speed or the source where the content is coming from is sub-par.

It is highly suggested that you use a broadband (DSL or Cable) connection. Keep in mind that higher the connection speed better the picture quality and overall performance.

The good news is this service will update their database from periodically and automatically update your TV player. There’s also an ‘Update’ icon on the player that lets you add new channels at your leisure (when available) and replaces broken links while in the process.

Recommendation

By the end of the day, you’ll have a reliable service with a proven record of success, with more content to watch then Cable and Satellite combined. The savings are tremendous but it doesn’t necessarily mean this beats out paid television.
